Q: Is the Vibe board a standalone system or do I need a computer with it?

The Vibe board is an all-in-one solution that combines an interactive digital whiteboard with built-in processor and smart software.

Q: What are the Vibe board and Vibe stand dimensions?

Vibe is powered through a 6 foot detachable power cord that is included with your purchase.

Q: Does the board have a battery pack? Can it function without being plugged in?

We do not offer a battery option at this time. Vibe must be plugged into a power outlet in order for it to work.

Q: How is the Vibe board powered?

We also provide EU, AU standard power cords to support customers. Important to note, Vibe does not have battery options. The range of Vibe’s power supply is AC100-240V - 50/60Hz.

For our 75’’ series Vibe board, we provide US/EU/UK standard power cords in the same package to support our international customers.

Q: Does the board have a battery pack? Can it function without being plugged in?

We do not offer a battery option at this time. Vibe must be plugged into a power outlet in order for it to work.

Q: Are there any other accessories available with Vibe?

Yes. Vibe sells optional mobile stands and extra styluses. Vibe has 2 USB ports, HDMI in, HDMI out, and an audio port for users to add their own speakers, USB mice, wireless keyboards, and other accessories.

Q: Which cameras and webcams do Vibe support?

For best performance, we recommend connecting the camera to and hosting the call from your computer.

The Vibe 55-inch board is more suitable to be used as an accessory (participant to the meeting), as described in this article.


Q: Do I need to purchase a stand or wall mount for my Vibe board?

Vibe offers beautifully designed custom mobile stands (in white or red) that are easy to install. Vibe mobile stands are sold separately from the Vibe board.

Vibe boards are also compatible with many other types of stands or wall mounts, depending on your needs or requirements.

All mounts and stands must be able to support at least 65 lbs and be compatible with a 200 x 200 VESA mount.

Q: Which stylus should I use with Vibe?

All Vibe boards come with 2 magnetic styluses. Vibe will work best with the custom Vibe styluses, which are specifically designed to work with the Vibe board.

Q: What is Vibe's active stylus?

The Vibe active stylus can also be used as a clicker for presentations to turn pages on the Vibe Canvas or to advance PowerPoint slides. U.S. customers interested in purchasing an active stylus should email sales@vibe.us. We can then send you a link to complete your purchase via Shopify.

Q: Do I need to purchase a stand or wall mount for my Vibe board?

Our Vibe Board 55″ is based on Android OS (7.1). Our Vibe Canvas app is complementary and you can use it for free.

At this point in time, Vibe software is included free of charge with your hardware purchase. You can access your Vibe account from a Vibe board, computer browser, tablet, or mobile phone (view only).

Q: Can multiple people collaborate on the Vibe board at the same time? What is the limit?

You can share and collaborate on the same board using our cloud-based software. Collaborators can join from additional Vibe boards, computer browsers, or tablets. There is no limit on the number of participants in a single session.

Q: Does Vibe automatically save information in real-time, or do I need to save manually?

Vibe Canvas is our cloud-based collaboration software. If you’re logged in to the Vibe board, any canvas you are working on will automatically be saved to the cloud.

Screencasting

Q: Which wireless devices does Vibe support?

Yes, Vibe boards support screencasting from a variety of devices. Please see recommendations below:

Q: Can I draw on top of the screencast or HDMI content?

Yes, Vibe supports annotation during HDMI or any screencast option. You can use our annotation feature to mark up videos, website pages, and presentations, take screenshots, and save these screenshots back to your Vibe whiteboard.

Q: Does Vibe Board require a projector?

A projector is not needed for the board. However, Vibe boards can be attached to a larger monitor or projector via HDMI out if you need to mirror Vibe to a larger device or screen (ex: auditorium or large conference room setting).

Q: Can I control my computer from the Vibe screen when casting?

Yes. Use the EShare application to wirelessly cast from your computer (available for Mac, Windows, and Android) to control your computer screen from the Vibe board.

Q: How much is Vibe? What’s in the box?

The Vibe board is $2,999 USD and includes free shipping within the U.S.

When purchasing a Vibe board, your package will include:

  • 55" UHD touchscreen Vibe interactive whiteboard
  • 2 Vibe touch styluses (styluses are magnetic and can clip to the side of the board or to your stand)

Vibe has partnered with Affirm, a 3rd party option that allows customers to purchase Vibe today and split payments into monthly payments of 6, 9 or 12 months.

Q: Does Vibe come with a warranty?

We offer a free one-year warranty. You can also add an extended warranty from Extend for up to 3 years.

Q: What is your return policy?

If you are not happy with Vibe for some reason, you can return the device within 30 days of your delivery date and would only need to cover the return delivery fee. We also accept return items if they are defective or damaged on arrival.

Q: Can I get an official quote for the Vibe Board?

In order for us to prepare a quote for you, Please fill out this Quote Request form. We would need your product(s) of interest, shipping/billing address, contact name, phone and email for delivery.

Q: Is installation included?

No, installation isn’t included or provided by Vibe. We have several certified Vibe reseller partners that can provide quality installation and technical support. Please contact sales@vibe.us if you need more information.

We do not provide a test unit, but we have some demo videos you might find useful. Also, if you still have further questions, please book a 1:1 online demo with us.

Q: Does Vibe shipping within the U.S.?

Shipping is free within the continental U.S. Depending on where you are located, shipping can take anywhere from 3-5 business days*.

  • *Due to COVID, shipping time is taking longer than usual - please expect 5-8 business days for shipping within the US.

Q: Does Vibe offer shipping to Canada?

Vibe regularly ships to Canada. Shipping time is approximately 3-6 business days depending on your location in Canada.

You can also arrange your own shipping from your preferred carrier, with pick up from our warehouse in Southern California.

Q: Does Vibe offer shipping outside of the U.S. and Canada?

Yes, Vibe boards can be shipped to most countries. Unfortunately, due to the impact of COVID, Vibe cannot support shipping to India at this time.

You can also arrange your own shipping from your preferred carrier, with pick up from our warehouse in Southern California.

Q: Does Vibe offer shipping to the UK and the EU?

For customers in the UK, Germany, Spain, Italy, France, Netherlands, and Sweden: all Vibe orders are currently fulfilled through Amazon.

For customers not in these countries: we unfortunately may not be able to deliver your order, but we are working hard to bring Vibe to your hometown. In the meantime, please contact the Vibe sales team with your shipping address, and we will contact our local carriers to see if you are within range.


Q: Does Vibe offer shipping outside of the U.S. and EU?

Yes, Vibe ships to Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and Singapore at the moment; we hope to expand our scope once we address current COVID restrictions

Whiteboard

Q: How can remote students see their teachers' drawings on a Vibe Board?

There are a few ways to share the view of your Vibe board remotely:

  • From the Vibe board, join or host your video conference application (such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or Google Meet), then share your screen. Students can now see any content you share on the Vibe board.

  • Share a link (edit or view only) of the whiteboard with your students so they can interact with you on the canvas in real time or view content in real time.

    Note: with this option, students will only be able to view content specifically in the Vibe board app.
    Content shared from screencast or 3rd party apps will not be visible.

  • If connecting in real time isn’t an option, teachers can export the Vibe board as a PDF and share the file with students after the class.


Q: Can students interact with the whiteboard in real-time, even if they don’t have a Vibe board?

Yes! Vibe is a cloud-based software that is accessible on any web browser or tablet. Vibe also has an app for iPad.

To share a board, simply send the link of the Vibe board you are using via email or copy-and-paste the link into the chat during your video conference. Students can interact with you on the canvas in real time once they have the link for access.

Note: Vibe can also be added as an application with Microsoft Teams.


Q: How can I record the screen of the whiteboard?

There are a few options to do screen recordings on Vibe:

  • Record your screen using a 3rd party application, such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or Google Meet.
  • Use a 3rd party app called ‘XRecorder’ to record the screen.
  • Use the HDMI out port with a capture card or cable to another device.

Q: Can I open a web browser on the side of the smartboard and import pictures from a website?

Yes! Open a web browser app (such as Chrome or Opera) and take a screenshot of the pictures you want. Then, select which board to save your images to.

You can also do this in a split-screen mode. This makes it easier to see which pictures you have already imported.


Q: Can I import images, PowerPoint, and PDF files into the whiteboard?

Yes. Vibe supports all of these formats, depending on which cloud storage option you are using.

We designed Vibe to be an intuitive, easy-to-use tool so that everyone could use the Vibe board right away on their next project. That’s why using Vibe is similar to using an oversized digital tablet.

Vibe doesn’t require extra computers, projectors, or calibration. And not only is it easy to learn, it’s fun to use! We provide complimentary onboarding training sessions to get you started, and you can always check out what’s new on our video tutorials.

Vibe supports most popular video conferencing apps, including Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, WebEx, Skype, RingCentral, and more.
