Data encryption and protection

Vibe encrypts all customer data both in transit and at rest, using industry-standard protocols such as SSL v2 and AES-256, alongside AWS KMS.

·When using web apps, Vibe keeps your files safe by storing all important data locally and encrypting it with tamper-resistant hardware.

·Deleted user content is permanently removed from all backend servers to ensure compliance with data governance policies.

Sandboxing

Each web page and application runs in a restricted environment known as a 'sandbox'. If you are directed to an infected page, the threat is isolated and contained, ensuring it cannot affect anything else on the device.

Over-the-air updates

Vibe provides automatic security updates every 2 to 4 weeks, ensuring you're working with the latest and most secure versions of Vibe and Chromium OS.
